We expect GYC Trustee Matt Clifford is looking forward to a rest this year after running 1000 miles in 2022 to raise money for GYC! Matt set himself the huge challenge at the start of the year to run numerous races across the country clocking up 1000 miles in total whilst fundraising for us.  Matt raised a fantastic £720 towards our work with and for young carers.

Thank you so much Matt for your dedication, determination and commitment to our charity and the young carers we support in Gloucestershire.

Matt said about the challenge “I had great fun running all those miles last year. All the events I attended were fantastic and I have a huge collection of medals to show for it! I enjoyed every mile, whether it was on my own, with a group or racing. It's given me a huge sense of achievement and I'm so proud to have completed it whilst raising such a great amount for GYC. More people need to challenge themselves and just sign up to something; you won't regret it!”
