Young carers had the opportunity to look at and handle exotic animals at our Twigworth offices.  

On Monday 17^th July, a group of young carers had the chance to meet some unique and special animals, finding out more lots of information on the animals and were even able to handle and pet the animals. John, from Animal-mania, taught the children about all of the one-of-a-kind animals they got to see and answered any and all questions the children had in addition to supporting the children to touch and even handle the animals.  

The children got to meet snakes, chinchillas, giant toads, giant rabbits, a baby tortoise and even a skunk! Despite some initial nerves, all the children handled the animals and showed real bravery to overcome some of their fears.
