We are thrilled to announce our new partnership with Cheltenham Ladies’ College, who have chosen Gloucestershire Young Carers as one of their College charities for the next two years. This incredible support, voted for by both students and staff, will have a direct and lasting impact on young carers across our county.

Our Fundraising Manager, Toni, recently visited the College to share more about our work, how their fundraising efforts will make a difference, and ways they can support young carers in their community, she shared,

Their generosity and enthusiasm will provide vital support for young carers, helping them access the resources, guidance, and respite they need. It’s inspiring to see young people rallying together to make a difference in their community."

Students have already kicked off their fundraising efforts with some creative and heart-warming initiatives. As part of their ‘Galentines’ celebrations, students sent cards and sweet treats to their friends in exchange for donations to Gloucestershire Young Carers. In addition, following the success of their previous clothing sale in January, students Waka and Valentina took the lead in collecting, organising, and reselling pre-loved clothing, raising an impressive £233!

We are incredibly excited to work alongside Cheltenham Ladies’ College over the next two years and can’t wait to see what else their brilliant students and staff have in store.
