On Tuesday, July 30th, Gloucestershire Young Carers took over 50 young carers to Cotswold Wildlife Park. We enjoyed exploring the park and seeing a variety of animals, from familiar goats, guinea pigs, and sheep to exotic giraffes, zebras, and camels. The outing offered a break from their caring responsibilities and an opportunity to learn about wildlife.
After a fun-filled morning, the groups gathered for a packed lunch, enjoying the beautiful surroundings, and getting to know each other! The day concluded with a visit to the gift shop, where most picked out souvenirs to remember the day. We are grateful to everyone who helped make this day possible.
