On August 7th, we took over 30 young carers to Bob Wilson's Fun Fair at Gloucester Park. Thanks to the incredible generosity of the fair, we enjoyed two hours of thrilling rides and games. They even treated everyone, including our staff, to delicious candy floss, adding a sweet touch to our unforgettable day.

Upon arrival at the fair, we divided into smaller groups to explore the attractions at our own pace. Some of the more adventurous young carers opted for the daredevil rides. They bravely boarded "Storm," which spun them high in the air, and "Twist," which had many of us feeling dizzy, but laughing the whole time nonetheless!

Others enjoyed the classic attractions, such as the waltzer and dodgems, while some tested their skills at the hook-a-duck, basketball, and ring toss games. There was something for everyone, and it was a delight to see the smiles and hear the laughter echoing throughout the fairground.

No visit to the funfair is complete without some delicious treats. Many indulged in mouth-watering burgers, hot donuts, and crepes, all of which were crowd favourites! The variety of food made sure no one left hungry.
