Twice a year we send over 900 We Care, We Count newsletters to young carers across Gloucestershire. This publication is produced by young carers for young carers and features lots of fun, advice and exciting news about events and activities at GYC.

We really couldn’t get this important mission done without the help of our amazing volunteers who come to our office to sit and stuff newsletters and Christmas cards in time for the last festive post.  With Christmas carols, mince pies and tea on demand we know how to keep our helpers happy whilst they finish the job.

Annie who is a recent volunteer to join us said “‘I had a lovely morning in the warm stuffing the Christmas newsletter. I met some new friends and had a good old natter and felt that I was helping out this great organisation that does so much for young people.’
