On Sunday, 30th September, we had the privilege of attending the H Vocals Charity Singing Gala, an inspiring event in support of Gloucestershire Young Carers. Holly, the organiser of the event said, “Having met Ellie and Toni, I could tell just how important it is that young people have access to experiences and opportunities away from their caring roles. That’s why we chose to support GYC.

We had over 35 students performing and lots of fun in between; with music quizzes, name that tune and a huge raffle to end the afternoon! A huge thank you to the amazing local businesses who were kind enough to donate vouchers and gifts, as well as Gloucester City Bowls Club who allowed us to use their venue and Skiddy's kitchen who catered the event.

We raised a grand total of £540 and it was an afternoon well spent. The students got to showcase their talents and their families got to watch them shine, all whilst raising money for great cause. What more could you ask for!”
