We are inviting you to support our charity by joining us in an exciting art endeavour. For a suggested donation of £50 you will receive a unique piece of artwork chosen at random. You will also be invited to a canapes and drinks event at the prestigious, historic venue of Elmore Court in Quedgeley, Gloucestershire, home of the Guise Family, where all the artwork will be on show before being distributed on the night. The event will be held in the Gillyflower Room on the evening of September 25th, 6pm to 8pm.There is a hidden army of young people in our community who are taking on the ‘adult-sized’ responsibilities of caring for a family member who is ill, disabled or experiencing mental ill health. Overlooked, their potential will go unsupported but Gloucestershire Young Carers is a charity that offers support to young carers from 8 years old upwards. We are raising funds for our work through an exclusive Art Evening which features some of the most collectable and interesting artists practising today. Postcard-sized pieces of artwork have been custom-created and donated by a raft of artists from across the world. Among them are: artists Nic Fiddian-Green, Craig Davison, Michael Cooper, Soomin Leong, John Isaacs, Wolfgang Buttress and Sue Nagel. Celebrities who have donated pieces include: Hollywood actor Simon Pegg, writer Jilly Cooper, music producer Magnus Fiennes and comedian Jack Dee. We also have work by some amazing local artists and, of course, the talented young carers themselves. Please complete the contact form below and either pay via our form or send us a cheque for your own suggested donation amount made payable to: Gloucestershire Young Carers along with name, address, email address, telephone number and number of postcard pieces/tickets required.Browse through our Gallery of mini masterpieces and wonder at what might be in your envelope. Will it be a cool celebrity doodle, a stunning work by a professional artist or a touching piece by a young carer? These are not the views of Gloucestershire Young Carers and we do not intend to cause offence. Hidden Potential Gallery and Order FormThe artwork will be allocated randomly and presented to the new owners on the night or distributed as soon as we can after the event.
