Staff and customers have not let lockdown stop them from fundraising for us as their charity partner. Virtual trekking, hair chopping and scaling mountains are all in a days work for the Forest of Dean Regional Community.  

Our charity partners in the Forest of Dean Region of Midcounties Co-op which includes 8 food stores, 2 travel stores, 2 Post Offices, 2 Pharmacies and Funeralcare branches have been super busy keeping the money rolling in for Gloucestershire Young Carers over the summer. From an instore John O’Groats to Lands End walk on a treadmill, sponsored haircut and scaling Scafell Pike there really is no stopping them! The charity partnership is now in its 4^th year and the enthusiasm just keeps on coming. The colleagues and staff have taken GYC to their hearts and we are so very grateful for their incredible support and passion for our cause.   

We have also recently received a £1000 donation from the Restart Fund to help us continue our services in 2021. We are so very grateful for this support during these difficult times due to Covid 19.
