Sending all our love and virtual hugs to our wonderful volunteers.

We miss our volunteers very much and we are grateful for all the kind messages of support and encouragement that we have received over the past few months.

Most of our volunteers are unable to be involved with their regular volunteering activities currently - either because they are self-isolating or because their usual volunteer role is on hold whilst we reassess our services and provision.  We do not want to lose touch with our supporters and wish to thank you all for your patience whilst we evolve in these tricky times.  As a small local charity we can do so much more with the help of volunteers and we hope to have some new ways that you can use your time to support us soon in a safe way.

Please keep a lookout for messages with ways we need help from both Sue and Sally, our Development Manager (Fundraising, Marketing and Communications) who is busy developing new fundraising initiatives and ideas.

Our volunteers are so important to us and we would welcome any creative ideas you might have to raise funds and awareness of GYC. Sue our Volunteer Coordinator would love to hear from you. Email her at: sue@glosyoungcarers.org.uk

A really easy way to support us is by following us on social media – keep up to date with the latest news and stories and help us share ways to get involved on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

A big thank you to you all, keep safe and well.

Sue
