On Tuesday 1st September 2024, the Mosquito Mission visited The University of Gloucestershire to deliver two sessions to Primary ECT students, informing them about young carers, their experiences in school, and how they as new professionals can help identify and support young carers in their schools.

On August 7th, we took over 30 young carers to Bob Wilson's Fun Fair at Gloucester Park. Thanks to the incredible generosity of the fair, we enjoyed two hours of thrilling rides and games!

School groups workshop a success! We were pleased with the response that we had from schools for our workshop on Young Carers Action Day 13th March. It was all about running young carer groups in schools and how this can be done and we had over twenty schools sign up for it!
Young Carers Action Day 2024 is fast approaching - this year it falls on Wednesday 13th March. The theme is fair futures for young carers and its focus is on why caring should not be a barrier to learning, earning or being able to get on in life – but how for many, it is.
